When Warpaint and Susie are not at Chiefs games they are in the community doing parades, rodeos, fairs, special events, and school appearances.
Warpaint and Susie are available for presentation to your school, business or special event on the following topics:. She lives a pampered celebrity horse life, staying in a heated barn in the winter and with a fan on her in the summer. She is fed Strategy grain and alfalfa hay. She wears special boots on the field at Arrowhead and appearances for added traction on varied surfaces.
As an added benefit the boots also leave fewer marks on the field than regular horse shoes. Warpaint loves to meet Chiefs fans appreciates being gently petted on her face and neck.
Many people want to know how Warpaint gets prepared for her big job at Arrowhead stadium. She is trained by professional horse trainer and judge Merle Arbo. After graduating from the University of Central Missouri with a degree in marketing in , Merle started judging and training horses full time. He owns and operates Arbo Performance Horses, where he specializes in showing and preparing all-around horses along with an occasional equine mascot! One of the more common questions asked is why Warpaint and Susie ran a different route or speed than the last game.
Most of our route decisions are based not by the horse and rider but actually by TV camera carts along the sidelines. Some of the bigger camera carts make it nearly impossible to get by them with a person, much less a horse.
I should post them up soon. Records players are cheap, plentiful and easy to come by. I understand if you're living in a shelter or your car; but if you can get yourself a Nintendo Switch, an IPad, a PS4 and a laptop, there is no reason why such a self-respecting Hip-Hop head shouldn't have a record player. Trust me, there's no reason to be intimidated by the various models, features, etc. Unless you're a hardcore DJ, you really don't need to know about types of drives, needles, etc.
It's good times over here. On its twentieth anniversary, collectors are finally able to cross one of random rap's most elusive, sough-after records off their wants list. That is, if they're willing to settle for a repress. Originally released on Tirade Records in , Warpath is a bit of a "grower. Songs like "No Feedback" with Chief just spitting hard over a tough mix of "Nautilus" and "UFO," or the hyper percussion underlying his non-stop flow on "Verbal Surgery.
Until now. Dope Folks has issued a limited copies run of this, which, as always, is available through their website, dopefolksrecords. They upgraded it to a nice sticker cover the original just came in a generic sleeve , and they've remastered it.
Now, I can't compare this to the original, because like most everybody else, I've only ever had a rip of this; but I can say this pressing sounds excellent. My only disappointment is that, after discovering that Chief has tons of vintage, unreleased tracks and that those DATs are well-preserved and freely available, this EP contains no exclusive bonus songs.
This is the first time Dope Folks has issued a record without at least one previously unreleased song on it. So when this was first announced, I was really hoping we'd get a couple bonus treats tacked onto the end, but no; this release only represses the original EP tracks. Dope Folks has said, though, that they're aware of Chief's unreleased vaulted music, and that it's a possibility for a future release.
So yeah, this is a traditional "holy grail" of random rap, a real standard. But actually, Chief isn't quite so "random" as you may think. Most know him as a NJ hold it down!
He's also out out a couple indie CDs in the s, and he's got a bunch of recent mp3s and youtube videos on his website, popachief. So check it. He's even talked of recording a Warpath II.
